Air conditioning is everywhere know a days, in the car, shops offices. So why is it every where but at your home where you want to be the most comfortable. The reason is people think it would be too expensive to install and run. With running costs of 3.66 pence per hour and a installation cost from £800 based on a 3.5kw unit its not as dear as you may have first thought and don’t forget this unit heats as well.

Units can be install practical any where, more often than not conservatories get built then its too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, so you use electric heaters that after the first year costs a small fortune, so you then get a plumber in to fit a radiator off of your central heating costing X amount, Know you can use it in the winter but what about the summer. All this seems a lot of mucking about and waste of money when you could have just got an air conditioning unit fitted in the first place that would heat and cool.

No payment will be taken until the job has been completed then you will receive a commissioning sheet along with a vat receipt.

Our commitment doesn't end with the completion of a successful installation – it’s just the beginning. We are able to maintain your equipment in order to keep it running perfectly throughout its long useful life.

Usual in a domestic installation if the home owner keeps the filters clean (witch they will be shown how on the completion demonstration) only an annual service will be required for manufactures warranty etc.

Our engineers will make a swift diagnosis of the problem and fix it immediately if this is possible, if not they will make an accurate assessment of the parts required - clients are then provided with a quotation for any further work needed.

Q: What type of unit can I use at home?
You have two types:

Split Air Conditioning
This is the most familiar form of installed air conditioning. They are called ‘split systems’ because they comprise of an indoor unit (mounted to a wall, ceiling or floor), which re-circulates the air in the room, either cooling or heating to your requirements.
The indoor unit is connected to an outdoor unit (condenser), by a pair of small diameter copper pipes and electrical cable.

Multi Split Air Conditioning
This operates in much the same way as the 'split' system. The 'Multi-split' system enables a number of indoor units to be individually controlled from a single outdoor condenser.
  • Up to four units can be operated in cooling only or heat only form.
  • 'Multi-split' systems offer an ideal way to treat a number of areas whilst minimising the space required for outdoor units.
Q: Will the unit heat as well as cool?

Cooling mode:
A refrigerant gas, within the system, absorbs excess room heat. As the refrigerant absorbs heat from the room it changes into a gas and passes through small, copper tubes to an outdoor unit where the heat is released, into the atmosphere. The gas then changes back into a cold liquid, returning to the indoor unit where the air is fanned over it and out into the room. This cycle is automatically repeated to maintain the required room temperature. The gas is sealed within the system.
Heating mode:
Heat pump systems also allow the above cycles to be reversed. A heat pump extracts "free" heat from the outdoor air, even on the coldest days when the temperature may fall as low as -10 degrees and transfers the heat indoors. Heat pump units therefore avoid the need for a boiler and allow you to cool and heat with the same unit, with savings in costs and energy throughout the year.
Q: All sounds good but how much to run?
The indoor section of the system contains a small fan and some electronic controls and has a power consumption comparable to that of a light bulb. The compressor, which is housed in the condensing unit, consumes a greater amount of power but only runs when the room requires heating or cooling. When a unit is sized correctly we would expect equal on and off periods. With this in mind we have built in a 50% diversity factor. The example is based on a 3.5kw split system with a power consumption of 1.2kw.
Running cost = Max. power consumption    x Diversity factor    x Current tariff
Running cost = 1.2kw    x 50%    x 6.1p per kw hour
Running cost = 3.66p per hour    

Q: How noisy are the units?
A: The indoor units are typically less noisy than a standard domestic fan. The outdoor units are slightly noisier than a standard domestic fan.

Q: What warranty comes with the units?
A: All units come with a 1 year parts and labour warranty which is extended to 3 years so long as an annual service is carried out. We will write to you to inform you that a service is due and the cost per year will cover a full service of the unit and all parts and labour. If you have more than 1 unit there will be an additional smaller cost per extra unit

Q: What is a “back-to-back” installation?
A: The term “back-to-back” is used for installations where the internal wall mounted unit is fixed to an external wall and the external compressor is fitted on the outside wall directly behind (or within 2 metres). This type of installation will not require any additional pipes or a pump resulting in minimal costs for fitting.

Q: Will I have unsightly pipes running on the outside of my house?
A: On residential installations all external pipes can be contained inside 70mm x 110mm white plastic trunking.
